About the Environment of the Opportunity:
The hospital employ more than 400 healthcare professionals, has the most comprehensive array of medical services in the area. The facility is located in Nevada(approximately 60 miles from Reno, NV), a place of natural rustic beauty with a four-season climate that offers a recreational wonderland.
Minimum Competencies:
1. Graduate of Surgical Services Technician
2. Deomnstrable manual dexterity and physical agility to operate all equipment and perform all procedures.
3. Utilizes safe body mechanics to ensure patient and caregiver safety
4. Physical demand requirements exceed those for heavy work.
5. Must possess Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification.
Responsibilities:
The Surgical Technician performs as the designated scrub for surgical cases. In addition, the Surgical Technician will be responsible for the care and maintenance of any equipment used during the surgical case. Both functions will be performed according to current standards of practice.
Compensation: DOE (Depending on Experience)
