Spring Season is always the refreshing time after the long drawn coldness of the winter breezes, rains and gloomy skies. It is the time when the spring flowers in your gardens and pots will grow and bloom. 

Spring is also the time when there are many changes around you, time to celebrate and enjoy the climate that nature brings. 

Here are the Top Ten Spring Chores that may be on your list. Have fun and be safe always. 

1. Time of de-cluttering unwanted items from your drawers and cabinets 

2. Time to re-organize your closets, hide the Winter outfits and hang your Spring collection ward drove

3. Time to re-grow your gardens of vegetables, herbs and flowers

4. Many household chores and renovations are underway

5. Many will pack their belongings or homes, and move to another city, state or country

6.  It's also time to meet your new neighbors, who moved from far other places 

7. Take time to enjoy the beautiful weather among friends, new neighbors and family

8. It is also the time to enjoy Spring vacations  

9. Time for your Spring neighborhood Yard Sales (where applicable)

10. Time to celebrate important events that normally taking place during the season. New celebrations will be held as well. 

The beautiful California's colorful flowers are blooming everywhere in your neighborhoods and flower farms... butterflies, bees and birds enjoy them alike. 

When you meet with friends and acquaintances, do not forget to learn something new and different. In that way, you always have something to think about and share to others when the chance will come. 

Spring Season is another moment that will bring us new opportunities in life.

Considerations in Improving One's Business, Leadership & Communication Skills for 2013

The Year 2012 is about to conclude. Have you reviewed your challenges and difficulties at work or at a personal level? If you have not done, in the next three weeks you can evaluate yourself and then make plans to eradicate those that made you failed, or at least plan to improve them to become better for next year.

Here is a personal question for yourself.
Are any of the following scenarios attributed to my inabilities, deficiencies or frustrations in this Year of 2012?

• I have poor verbal and written communication skills
• Inability to articulate myself to my peers at work and outside work because I do not speak the English language well
• I am a Team Leader but has issues in communicating verbally and effectively with my team members
• I cannot advanced myself in my career as I felt my communication skills are not proficient
• I lack leadership skills and wanted to accomplish more results
• I always find myself below par when engaged in conversational topics with friends
• I have been to numerous interviews but cannot land the job due to my communication skills and conversational inabilities
• When explaining something to others I was always searching for the right words or phrases
• Speaking in front of others is always been my problem, I always read my powerpoint line by line, when I present and cannot articulate additional information that were not listed in the presentation
• At numerous occasions, I’ve been tasked to relate with Excel Spreadsheets but don’t have any knowledge of using it
• I went to school and learned English but I cannot express myself conversationally like other English speakers, however I can write my ideas well
• I have been living in the United States for few years but still cannot speak English well, I have also attended many ESL classes at various centers
• I am new in the area and working for a technology company, however my English is very limited

Presidential Inauguration: December 1, 2012

Mr. Enrique Peña Nieto, the President-elect will be inaugurated to assume his Presidency on December 1, 2012. He was elected as the new President of Mexico five months ago. 

Mr. Enrique Peña Nieto comes from Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), which is Mexican's dominating political party in the 20th Century. He embodies the new generation of PRI leadership, however there lies skepticism on how different will he change PRI's practices and reflect these to his new government. Peña Nieto likes to change the conversations about Mexico focusing on economic advancement from drug violence. 

Last Tuesday, November 27, 2012, President-elect Enrique Peña Nieto met with President Barack Obama at the Oval Office and discussed about bilateral relationship between USA and Mexico.

"But I think that’s representative of the strength of the relationship between the United States and Mexico," President Obama said. "It’s not just a matter of policy, but it’s a matter of people, as represented by the many U.S. citizens who travel to Mexico, who live in Mexico, and obviously the incredible contribution that Mexican Americans make to our economy, our society, and to our politics." - President Obama

"We were both congressmen -- legislators, as we say in Spanish -- in our respective congresses in our own countries," he said. "And this means we're very sensitive to the needs of our peoples. And we also share a very important vision, the vision for instance of creating more jobs. On December 1, 2012 - Mr. Enrique Peña Nieto will be officially President of Mexico. Our best wishes for his new insights and collaborative efforts for the advancement of the entire Mexican Society across the globe. Vice President Joe Biden will lead the U.S. delegation to the President-elect Peña Nieto's inauguration.

Celebrating 2012 Diwali / Deepavali with You

"We are wishing the best and more successes in everyone's journey as we celebrate the 2012 Diwali / Deepavali Festival of Lights."

The Celebration of the Diwali Festival of Lights will begin shortly.  The Indian People and their communities celebrate this Festival in recognition to victory of the Good over the Evil and Light over Darkness. It has a major religious significance for Hindus, Sikhs and Jains alike - not only in India, but also for Indians living abroad. In the western (gregorian) calendar, Diwali falls on a day in October or November every year - just after the monsoon season in India.

Deepavali is celebrated for five days according to the Hindu Calendar. It begins in late Ashvin (between September and October) and ends in early Kartika (between October and November). The first day is Dhan Teras. The last day is Yama Dvitiya, which signifies the second day of the light half of Kartika. Each day of Deepavali marks one celebration of the six principal stories associated with the festival.

Deepavali and Diwali celebrations take place in many countries around the globe. There is a large population of over 30 million Indians living overseas. Those 'Non-Resident Indians' (NRI) and 'Persons of Indian Origin' (PIO) play an important role in many societies and enriching the cultural diversity of whole nations. The largest groups of non-resident Indians live in the USA, Canada, Nepal, Burma, Malaysia, Singapore, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi-Arabia, South-Africa and in the United Kingdom (UK). Depending on the origin of the majority of Indians, the festival in those countries is either Diwali (most immigrants from North-India, i.e. USA/Canada/UK) or Deepavali (most immigrants from South-India such as Tamils, i.e. Malaysia/Singapore).
