The Opportunity:

About the Environment of the Opportunity:
The facility is a 25-bed critical access hospital offers comprehensive care in a state of the art facility. Open since 2004, its history stretches back to 1883, when the Hospital was founded. With more than 200 employees, it provides community with a safe, efficient and caring hospital environment, and it offers a wide range of programs and services to aid in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of illnesses.

The community has a service-area population of 35,000 and is nestled in the Sierra Nevada mountain range at an elevation of 4,225 feet above sea level.

Minimum Competencies:
1. Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field,
2. Certification in nursing informatics, or advanced degree in subject matter or
3. Three years equivalent and relevant experience.
4. Must have a current Registered Nurse (R.N.) with licensure in practicing state
5. Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft office applications.
6. Must possess the competencies of demonstrable understanding of integrated clinical systems which provide guidance and being a resource to users, teams and committees
7. Must have highly developed interpersonal and critical thinking skills with the ability to prioritize needs rapidly.
8. Must demonstrate ability to convey messages and thoughts clearly to a diverse audience, using both verbal and written media.
9. Must demonstrate ability to promote change among large groups of workers.
10. Must demonstrate the ability to coordinate and support information systems and activities, work under stress of deadlines and frequent interruptions, and to possess analytical problem solving skills.
11. Must demonstrate competencies in communicating user needs and clinical care processes including information technology.

Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for providing Informatics advice and resources for a facility or specialty area. As a resource, this position provides on-going user and informatics support for various teams and committees. This position supports the organization's vision and direction for computer systems, process design, data management and related processes. The informatics coordinator serves as a liaison between the facility or specialty area and the Clinical Information System IT team to communicate user needs and facilitate system modification to meet user needs.

Position: Documentation, Clinical Coding and Compliance Coordinator

Job Summary
• Responsible for coding compliance and documentation functions of the department.
• The position primarily interacts with adults and does not provide direct patient care. All staff members must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skill necessary to meet the physical, psychosocial, educational, safety and related needs of persons in the assigned work areas.

Minimum Qualifications
• Associate Degree in nursing with inpatient coding experience
• Three (3) years of clinical experience or an Associate Degree with designation of RHIA, RHIT or CCS credential
• Three (3) years of coding experience
• One (1) year of inpatient coding experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
• Supervisory experience and experience in developing and conducting staff and physician educational programs preferred
• Physical requirements are primarily related to the essential functions of any job. In order to perform the essential functions of this position you must be able to sit, walk, stand, use your hands, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, talk and hear
• Must possess the ability to read, analyze and interpret complex scientific, clinical and business journals, financial reports, clinical and legal documents
• Ability to respond to sensitive inquiries or complaints from guests, regulatory agencies, staff, physicians, and members of the business community
• Ability to write persuasive correspondence, speeches and articles for publication.
• Ability to effectively present information to top management, large public groups, physicians and boards of directors

Responsibilities:
• Maintains a working knowledge of ICD9 and CPT coding principles, governmental regulations, protocols and third party requirements regarding billing and clinical documentation for all patient types.
• Coordinate and conduct chart reviews of all patient types ensure compliance with coding and documentation guidelines and all governmental rules and regulations.
• Provides follow up educational sessions and information to physicians, coding staff, etc. based on the findings of the audits.
• Reviews charts selected by the RAC to ensure compliance with coding and documentation guidelines and all governmental rules and regulations.
• Identifies target areas and provides education to physicians, coding staff, etc based on the findings of the audits.
• Concurrently reviews inpatient records to identify areas of incomplete documentation.
• Develops and maintains a close working relationship with physicians and other clinicians to assure as full an understanding of documentation and coding guidelines as possible.
• Develops and interprets reports to assist in the review and analysis of the documentation and coding patterns of providers.
• Serves as a resource with regard to clinical documentation as it relates to the rules of ICD9 Diagnoses and Procedure Codes, CPT Codes and modifiers to ensure accurate reimbursement for services rendered.
• Provide operational direction to department staff in the absence of Director, Associate Director and Coding Manager.

Work Environment
• Moderate noise and light traffic in a busy office environment and on nursing units with numerous guests, including patients, physicians, auditors, department heads and stressful emergency situations.

The Opportunity:
JNT Consulting LLC is seeking an experienced and trainable Administrative Assistant / Coordinator who will be based in Tucson, Arizona.

Job Description:
The Administrative Assistant / Coordinator will be responsible in executing administrative functions and coordinating multi-faceted activities within the organization and liaising with external offices or agencies. Majority of the function will be focused on client support and relationships but not limited to coordinating with business partners, alliances and prospective clients within the industry.


Manages the day to day communications and liaises between customers, clients and business partners, updates records, databases, generate and manage spread sheets, reports to management, business proposals, bids, answering inquiries and providing information. Executes periodic customer survey to clients and partners during an in progress service and upon completion.

Executes pricing estimates, analysis, obtain surveys, and negotiates costs for competitive proposals and bids, and other assigned tasks that will be necessary to support the business operation.

Manages and coordinates logistical requirements of client’s activities between locations and offices, registering orders, following operational processes and procedures, monitoring quality services and deliverables, preparation and completion of required documentation and these must be executed with accuracy and efficiency, work diligently across business units to effectively coordinate all operational flow and support of the business.

Candidate Qualifications & Experience:
BS Degree or equivalent experience of 5 years in administrative position

BS with 3 years of administrative assistant experience

Experienced in a multi-cultural setting, multiple industries such as high tech, construction, education, healthcare, relocation, real estate, logistics, moving, government, etc.

Personable, intelligent, educated, competent, open-minded, fast learner, culturally sensitive, go-getter and trainable

Multi-task oriented, problem solver, self-reliant, time management, excellent communication skills in both written and verbal language

Speaks English fluently, other languages spoken an advantage

Possess demonstrable strong customer service skills, interpersonal skills, detail oriented, excellent competencies in Microsoft Office including adobe acrobat, excellent office management and organization skills, critical thinking and strong respect to confidentiality
